Welcome to the official website of the Cumberland Furnace Volunteer Fire Department. We are 100% Volunteer and we proudly provide fire protection and emergency medical response to Cumberland Furnace and Northern Dickson County. Our Firehall is located at 2999 New Dry Hollow Rd. in the historic community of Cumberland Furnace, Tn. Our mission is to provide Quality Service through Community Support. We would like to thank all who have helped make Cumberland Furnace Volunteer Fire Department the great organization it has become. The Cumberland Furnace Volunteer Fire Department provides the following services to our response area:

  • Hazardous Materials
  • Search, Rescue & Recovery
  • Landing Zone Setup
We also provide Mutual Aid to neighboring Fire Departments when needed.

Burning Permits Are Required Beginning October 15 Until May 15
Should a fire you start get out of control and the fire department respond, forestry has the right to fine you if you didn't get a burning permit. Burning permits are free but are required before you burn. To obtain burning permits: call 1-800-367-3507 Mon-Fir 8:00-4:30.
